15 từ và cụm từ
"Describe your home" là một trong những đề Speaking Part 2 hay ra nhất, và nó cũng xuất hiện ở Listening dưới dạng hội thoại thuê nhà. Vấn đề của nhiều thí sinh là chỉ nói được "My house is big, it has three rooms". Unit này cho bạn 15 từ để tả căn nhà cụ thể hơn: thuê hay sở hữu, ở tầng nào, phòng rộng hay chật, gọn hay bừa.
Làm nhanh để biết mình cần tập trung vào đâu. Không tính điểm.

Tầng nào cũng dùng giới từ "on": on the third floor.

dùng chung, ở ghép
I share a kitchen with two other students. Tôi dùng chung bếp với hai sinh viên khác.

✓ I share the room with my brother.
"Share with" đã bao hàm nghĩa cùng nhau, không thêm "together".

"Cosy" hàm ý nhỏ; ghép với "spacious" là mâu thuẫn. Anh-Mỹ viết "cozy".

"Cupboard" thường để đồ ăn hoặc bát đĩa; quần áo thì dùng "wardrobe".

Dùng ít nhất 6 từ của unit. Tả cụ thể, tránh câu chung chung như "my house is big".
Viết 5–6 câu tả nơi bạn đang ở: loại nhà, tầng, các phòng, đồ đạc.
Dùng flat, ground floor, upstairs, furniture, wardrobe, spacious hoặc cosy.
Viết 4–5 câu về việc ở ghép hoặc thuê nhà: bạn chia sẻ gì, ai làm việc gì.
Dùng share, rent, landlord, tidy, messy, do the washing-up.
Phần viết không chấm tự động. Hãy so bài của bạn với bài mẫu và kiểm tra xem đã dùng đúng từ của unit chưa.
Chuẩn bị 60 giây. Với câu cuối (Part 2), nói liên tục 1–2 phút.
Tự trả lời thành tiếng trước đã. Sau đó nghe câu mẫu, rồi nói lại lần nữa — bắt chước nhịp và chỗ ngắt, đừng học thuộc.
