Present continuous (thì hiện tại tiếp diễn) cho tương lai
Hình thức: am/is/are + V-ing. Cách dùng: nói về những arrangements (kế hoạch đã sắp xếp, đã hẹn) trong tương lai. Dấu hiệu: có mốc thời gian cụ thể như this weekend, on Monday. Ví dụ: We're driving to Berlin this weekend. Lưu ý: KHÔNG dùng cho dự đoán.
will
Hình thức: will + V (nguyên thể). Cách dùng: sự thật/facts về tương lai, predictions (dự đoán không có bằng chứng), lời đề nghị/hứa (offers) và quyết định ngay lúc nói (decisions made now). Ví dụ: I'll go to China this summer. Với câu hỏi đề nghị dùng I/we, dùng Shall: Shall I drive you?
be going to
Hình thức: am/is/are going to + V. Cách dùng: intentions (dự định), dự đoán có bằng chứng (predictions with evidence). Dấu hiệu: có dấu hiệu hiện tại cho thấy điều sắp xảy ra. Ví dụ: It's going to rain, so take an umbrella.
Present simple cho lịch trình
Hình thức: V(s/es). Cách dùng: timetables (lịch tàu, xe, máy bay cố định). Ví dụ: My plane leaves at six.

• We do not use will for arrangements.
