Đây là unit khép lại chặng Essential, và cũng là unit dùng được ngay: toàn bộ Writing Task 1 chỉ xoay quanh mấy động từ tăng – giảm, mấy trạng từ mạnh – nhẹ, và cách so sánh hai nhóm. Ở band 4.0–4.5, ba lỗi khiến bài Task 1 mất điểm nhiều nhất là: dùng "increase" như danh từ lẫn động từ mà sai giới từ ("increase of 5%" và "increase to 20" bị lẫn), viết "the number of people were", và lặp "a lot" thay vì "sharply / slightly". Unit này chữa đúng ba chỗ đó.

Viết 5–6 câu mô tả số liệu sau: Số học sinh đi bộ tới trường A: 2015 là 20%, 2019 là 35%, 2023 là 34%. Đi xe máy: 2015 là 60%, 2019 là 45%, 2023 là 30%.
