Unit 5: Future Time

📘 Giải thích tiếng Việt

Be going to & hiện tại tiếp diễn cho tương lai

Be going to diễn tả dự định hoặc dự đoán có bằng chứng ở hiện tại (She's going to fall asleep any minute). Hiện tại tiếp diễn dùng cho kế hoạch, sắp xếp đã định trước (We're visiting my grandparents this weekend).

Will, shall & hiện tại đơn

Will cho quyết định tức thời, lời hứa, dự đoán (I'll look after the kids); shall dùng khi đề nghị/gợi ý (Shall I give you a hand?). Hiện tại đơn cho lịch trình cố định (The last bus leaves at midnight).

Future perfect & future continuous

Future perfect (will have done) chỉ việc hoàn tất trước một mốc tương lai; dạng continuous (will have been doing) nhấn khoảng thời gian kéo dài tới mốc đó. Future continuous (will be doing) tả hành động đang diễn ra tại thời điểm tương lai.

Mệnh đề thời gian tương lai

Sau when, as soon as, once, until, by the time dùng thì hiện tại (đơn hoặc hoàn thành), không dùng will: You can go home when the bell rings.

Cấu trúc trang trọng & tương lai trong quá khứ

be to (kế hoạch chính thức), be about to / be on the verge of (sắp xảy ra ngay), be due to (dự kiến theo lịch). Tương lai trong quá khứ dùng was/were going to, would, was to: The company was going to expand, but…
